Seriously I'm sorry for taking away from your joke and fucking up the thread. But ya I think he said "before she dives".

u/shart_leakage May 09 '24
You didn’t take away from it. You took it outside behind the shed and beat it to death, until it was a pile of ground meat, and then you fucked the pile of meat.

Imagine being a whale and minding your own business, then some monkey jumps on your back and helps relieve some pain.
72
u/L4n0x May 09 '24
there have been cases of whales seeking humans to help them with stuff like nets etc.
23
u/uncultured_swine2099 May 09 '24
Yeah, if the whale really wanted to get away from the boat he would be long gone.

u/robbak May 09 '24
There's no doubt that whale was hanging around them so they could cut that rope off. The whale knew what they were up to - if it didn't want to be there, it would have just dived and swum away.

Sam was too focused to properly tell his friend to “shut the fuck up.” Good lord if he thinks this is being helpful I’d hate to be around that guy.

Yes but his tone suggests excitement and commitment to the task.
Seems like a good lad with a slightly annoying habit/quip

u/the8thindigo May 09 '24
I appreciate the incessant encouragement. I would need it that situation for sure
2
u/JohnsonMeatTower May 09 '24
Maaan, people keep giving the guy shit for yelling at uh... what was his name... oh ya Sam. But in high stress, unusual situations like that where you have (most damn likely) never done anything like that before, it honestly helps alot. On top of that, if it was really after 3 hours, shit I would be tired and need someone too be yelling at me to keep going. Like working out with my friends, I appreciate the constant yelling of what's obvious to do cause it keeps my head in the game.
2
u/LoudBackgroundMusic May 09 '24
Very glad this guy helped, however it is incredibly dangerous. this guys body was never found.

2
u/Cosmic_Voidess May 09 '24
The whale must have known what they were trying to do, right? Or else it would've swam away. Whales are pretty smart, but then again it could've just been chilling idk I'm not a whale expert

George: The sea was angry that day, my friends - like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli. I got about fifty feet out and suddenly, the great beast appeared before me. I tell you, he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence, he let out a great bellow. I said, "Easy, big fella!" And then, as I watched him struggling, I realized that something was obstructing its breathing. From where I was standing, I could see directly into the eye of the great fish. Jerry: Mammal. George: Whatever. Kramer: Well, what did you do next? George: Well then, from out of nowhere, a huge tidal wave lifted me, tossed me like a cork, and I found myself right on top of him - face to face with the blowhole. I could barely see from the waves crashing down upon me, but I knew something was there. So I reached my hand in, felt around, and pulled out the obstruction. [George dramatically reveals the obstruction to be a golf ball] Kramer: [somewhat embarrassed] ... What is that, a Titleist? [George nods] Kramer: A hole in one, huh?

I imagine They wanted the epic movie scene approach where They came out as heroes, it’s the only explanation i can find for him litterally diving with his hands up ON TOP of the whale while the Guy filming is screaming ”GET IT BEFORE IT DIES” and other useless orders continuesly

Good work by Sam! But his friend is fucking annoying as shit. I think Sam was well aware of what needed to be done without being told to " get it" over and over. Sam deserves better friends.
