my mother & I help the elderly with housekeeping services & see this too often. one of our family friends was so doped up on Xanax & other medication she would forget to eat - having only wine, cheese and crackers in the pantry. with support from her close ones, we were able to taper her medication & get fruits & vegetables in her fridge. she is doing much better now.

I believe this documentary sheds light on US political & historical ties on the current reality. sad that not much has changed in ~20 years.
