There are fucking rules here, this isn't Nam Smoky!

"Am I the only person around here who cares about the rules?!"

My favourite is,

"you want a toe, I can get you a toe... green nail polish and everything."

Agreed. Love his acting. He's so memorable in any role he's in.

Cate Blanchett. Woman has a presence

Check out the show Disclaimer if you haven’t already

2

u/Sure_Information3603 1d ago

I’m no prude, but the sex scene with her and the recent high school grad was the most cringe thing ever and completely knocked me out of that show.

5

u/psilocybin_therapy 1d ago

Well that was a different actor, but I thought those scenes were incredibly hot. You should keep watching because you might feel differently once more is revealed later. Show made me laugh, cry, get turned on, and surprised me. Thought it was a masterpiece by the end.

Do you think God stays in heaven because he too lives in fear of what he has created?

OMG just saw Nosferatu yesterday and he (of course) was so good! The movie is a masterpiece IMO, but then I’m a Roger Eggers fan. Except for the Northmen. We don’t talk about the Northmen.

4

u/Valuable_Emu1052 20h ago

I've watched the Northman seven or eight times. It just gets better with each viewing.

2

u/Pitiful_Winner2669 9h ago

Was gunna say, the Northman was bad? My wife and I love that movie.

I honestly see him as one-note. It's a fantastic one-note though. He's a terrific dramatic actor. However, I absolutely hate every comedy he's ever been in. The Fockers movies, and Analyze this/that. Never watched the grandpa movie, but I'm sure its awful.

3

u/BeacanWentFishn 1d ago

Denzel Washington has this power to make any okay movie he's in good, and any good movie he's in usually becomes great. Inside Man (2006) was nothing special besides clive owen and denzel's performances
