Ayrton Senna during an Indycar test with Team Penske at Firebird Raceway, 1992. Honestly, if he was alive after the crash at Imola in 1994... He would have joined Indycar alongside his fellow Brazilian drivers.

Absolutely not. He never had any intention of joining IndyCar. He did the test to put pressure on Ron Dennis in a contract negotiation. It’s nice to think he might have joined IndyCar but whimsical thinking is all it was.
