[lifestyle] YouTuber Recommendations?

Can anyone recommend any YouTubers to follow who are minimalists or similar. Am looking for ones that are non religious and have kids. Out of the US would be good too (I am from New Zealand).

I have few accounts I follow but they always end up bringing up church and stuff to do with that and I just want to find people I can relate to.

Thanks :)

I follow him. I think he is very solid giving recommendation and he isn't trying to selling you things or anything like that.

OP if you read this please give it a try.

Minimal Ease? I don't think I've heard her reference religion, she's a former teacher with one child. Still American though, sorry.

Simple Happy Zen is Dutch, I think, and I've never heard her talk about religion. I'm not sure about her family situation though.

The only thing is, while she's not as bible-forward as her sister, it still pops up occasionally and I didn't know OP's comfort level so I didn't recommend her. I can't speak much to her kid-related content as I don't have any, but it seems very solid. I love watching her clean out their closets though, all those broken bits and bobs are familiar from my own childhood.

I used to watch her quite a bit and I've got significant religious trauma, so she must not be too overwhelming with it.

oh! yes i’ve watched a bunch of her videos and didn’t even realize she was religious. She does have a ton of great kid content about decluttering toys and kids spaces though.

It's super infrequent and I think maybe limited to "we went to church" so definitely not heavy handed. Wish they could also be like that! I didn't realize it myself for the longest, which is why I still watch her.

Random click and poof, not extreme. Yes, I know, kids, but it's definetly NOT extreme.

I really like AtoZen life. Marissa has 2 kids, her husband is Chinese and they lived in Germany until this year they moved back to the Chicago area. No church stuff at all!

Am I a weirdo for creating a reddit account just to promote myself and find out about 0bag content? Yes, I am.

Nonetheless, I exist. I'm an extreme minimalist parent (also my YT name) and as of lately pratice low-tech. I'm not religious, idek if I want to believe in santa thing.

I have one toddler in a one bedroom top flat and shared garden. We appericate peppa pig and Thomas. Kinda Bluey, kinda not.

We have one phone and one TV. No digital photos, only a selected bunch of physical ones and memories. Pratice BJ and have a physical alarm clock and analog watch. Paperwork fits into a binder. Books and then recently DVDs contained to one shelf each. Very minimal kitchen. One set of sheets each. Just one wall decor. No bedside tables or coffee tables. Only 30 items in the bathroom. 36 piece wardrobe. Etc etc.

If that's for you, it'll be cool to connect. If not, it's okay too.

Bayley Made It (her name used to be Minimom). I love her content but she hasn't posted anything for the past 6 months.

SimonFordman is the best minimalist automotive filmmaker on YouTube. If you like cars and/or watching people repair things, his channel is gold.

If you're looking for extreme then I really recommend just typing in 'extreme minimalist kids' and having a scroll. So many awesome people, some religious (you can ignore that part if you wish) and some aren't.

Things like forgoing halloween and Christmas, snacks, TV or PJs etc altogether is common. And although some scream it's for religion, it really doesn't have to be. 'I don't like it' is enough. By itself. On its own.
