Given that most of the series seems to have happened across a single day, it's would be frankly nothing short of a miracle if the planet manages to continue existing a month later, nevermind long enough for someone to have grandkids!

The entire series doesn't happen in a single day, everything from episode 5 to 12 happens in one day and also in less than an hour of real time.

Guy must of gotten PTSD waking up in a pool of blood and mutilated corpses. However, Sanford Hank and Rockmos have seen some disturbing shit too. Then again Hank seems to enjoy it.
