Discussion How do you organise food when living with family

Food in the fridge. Or what's yours, whats for your dad whats for the sister

We don't everyone eats whatever they want tbh we never rlly had an issue if u want it u can buy whatever was eaten no big deal or mom will make more If it was sum she made.

Hbb walla. The only Japanese snacks I know are the Mochis. That is the extent of my knowledge.

if u ever have the chance, in most good supermarkets, check for japanese crackers, they are like our ''moukasarat'', they are amazing.

Willing to share but if someone is getting greedy I’d just say no. Communication and boundaries are important especially when it comes to food.

Not when you are more than 3 in a household.

Difficult to keep the fridge organised and to assign a specific tupperware for each!

We are more than 6 in the household and again boundaries we know what each likes and if we really wanted something we ask first… it’s easy we know not to overstep or misplace and share

We were 6, 4 siblings. But we always had time for breakfast, and dinner. And during the day you eat whatever there is in the fridge, mom would always get money from each one and keep the fridge full of, labne, salami etc…

2 fridges and each section of the fridge is for someone, makes u all learn how to be efficient and organized.

also cupboards, there is one huge ''family'' cupboard for all to use and also smaller ones for each person to put his personal stash of whatever snacks and goodies.

also, it is common knowledge that you eat what is yours and in case u see something u like, u ask who is it for and either u get it offered or traded.

In my case, spicy food. I love it(albeit it not melt my tongue degree of spiciness) and my family hates it.
