I just want to take a shower

Granted, my brain isn't working too well right now because REASONS - but I cannot figure out how to turn this shower on.

I'm staying at a friend's house while they are out of town. Where they are at, the internet is spotty at best so even if I text them, they might not see it for a while. So yeah - how does this shower set-up work? There's no button or lever on the spout. The only lever on the shower head dials in the spray. What am I missing?!?

Turn the tap, the round knob. My tap/spout where the water comes out has a pull-up thing... you pull it up for shower to come on, you push down for it to stop. Maybe the round knob for turning the water on pulls in and out for that purpose? Good luck!

Pulling the round knob up turned the water on, but I didn't try pushing/pulling it. It was a long day yesterday. I will try - thanks!
