Request Light and Fan switch in my apartment. Controls a combined ceiling light fixture. Has rockers presumably for dimming/speed, but the main buttons also control dim/speed. I'd love to know all about it, but I'd settle for just understanding how to quickly toggle power to fan and light w/o dim/speed.

Im guessing the larger buttons increase the speed/brightness and the smaller ones turn it lower. Left = faster/brighter, right=slower/dimmer

Afraid not. The smaller "buttons" are actually two rockers, so there's a total of 6 buttons: two large ones for fan and light, then four buttons across two rockers next to the large buttons. See pic

Once you figure it out, you should post it in /shittydesign. If it’s wired correctly, this fits that description.

*Meant to say "combined ceiling light/fan fixture. I just cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the larger buttons just quickly toggle on/off the fan and light respectively. If there's rockers just to the side, then logic would dictate this to be the default function.
