Christmas You Go So Fast (from HBO's Vinyl)

This is the best post-christmas song ever written (even though it's basically a parody-- written by a fictitious 1970s crooner for the fictitious record company in the cancelled-too-soon HBO show Vinyl.)

I really liked this show, too bad it didn’t last. Sturgill Simpson’s theme song is awesome too.

It would have been a cool chronicle of the rise of punk and disco in the 1970s. With Martin Scorsese and Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire) involved, it had a lot of potential.

What's crazy is that it actually was renewed for a second season before it was cancelled.
