The fact he literally has the money to make the world better for people, could change the lives of millions and more and still not put a dent in his bank account and yet he just uses it to make more money with nothing to show for it other than a fat stack. He’s just another rich dude that wastes the power given to him.

How many people you know own teslas? He made them to make more money, not make anything better.

Na, definitely not. He just wastes so much potential, to be expected though really.

All you need to get a rabid internet following is to be born into money and to "own the libs."
There's quite an overlap in the Trump fans/Musk fans venn diagram.
Edit: I accidentally a word.

You don't remember when he was reddit's darling and king of all the updoots?

I do remember. In fact, I thought he was awesome until relatively recently. "Real-life Iron Man," and all that bs. But now that many more people know the truth about him, he has only those two attributes left going for him, and his fan demographic is, well, much less diverse, to say the least.

He's not an inventor. He didn't make his fortune as he was born into money. He's an attention whore and potentially dangerous depending on how far he's going to carry his following. I used to think it was funny that he was posting dumb memes and stuff to troll people, but now I'm thinking he'll just do whatever keeps his name in people's mouths. Typical spoiled rich kid behavior. He seems to be the kind of guy whose ego will continue to feed itself and grow as people hang on to his every word; he's basically tricking himself into thinking his opinions are increasingly important. Bit of a self-perpetuating cycle.

He turned against the Democrats and now you feel obligated to hate him, got it.

I'm not a Democrat lol.
Is that a thing though? Him turning against the Democrats? I didn't even know he ever said he was a Democrat. If so, is that why you feel obligated to love him?

Yeah, and I think many musk fans were libertarian or liberal and followed Musk’s slide towards being a fascistic social conservative. He’s our timelines boring supervillain

fascistic
Can you actually explain this term?

He’s a late stage capitalist. Lobbies for benefits, got his wealth from slave labor, etc.

Fascism isn't capitalism. It's a controlled economy. At no point has Musk tried to stop others from entering the car or rocket business.

I like weird nerd Elon you see in the Tim Dodd interviews. Twitter Elon, Republican Elon, horse-gifting babydady misogynistic Elon? Bring on the legitimate criticism.
