❓ Question How do you deal with the discomfort that comes from making a necessary but tough change in life?

A have a problem: I often second guess myself when I have to do something uncomfortable to make a change in life. I will fall back into the planning stage over and over again to avoid the discomfort of actually changing.

How do you handle the tough feelings that come up when actually solving your problems?

I usually try to focus on what I need to accomplish today. And keep that focus on immediate needs rather than a litany of items. It can feel overwhelming to think about everything that needs to be tackled over time, so I keep my focus on the present day and what I can do in the next 8 - 10 hours to move closer to my goal(s). Hope that helps. Keep it simple. Baby steps will take you far!

I just push through and do it. I rationalize that if I don’t do it, I don’t actually want the change it will bring, so I should probably go back to the drawing board.
