[MOD] Success Sundays - Post your weekly triumphs here!

Hey gainers. Today is Success Sunday!

This is a place to post something that you accomplished this week, or any personal triumphs, and get encouragement/motivation from your fellow users. Some examples:

  • This week I set a personal record on my bench press of 150 lbs!

  • I was struggling to meet my daily calories for a while, but I finally was able to reach my goal on Friday!

  • One of my friends complimented me on the size of my arms

  • This week I ripped my favorite pair of shorts -- it was awesome.

We encourage you all to post any triumph -- big or small.

The scale said 140.2 this morning, and I hit 205 lbs on conventional and sumo deadlifts. First time moving 200+ lbs in my life. I know it's barely anything but it felt good

Quite happy with my bulking progress so far, coming back from a hiatus:

I've been making it a goal to finally put on some weight on my skinny frame.
After taking in ~4000 calories per day for the last week, my weight has gone from 132 to 140lbs and my flared ribs are not as noticeable.

The idea is to keep at it until the end of march and cut until my goal weight of 150lbs.

(trust me guys, I'll worry about the "fat gains" later, I'm just happy to gain something)

That’s a lot of weight so soon, but as long as you’re working out you should be fine. Just keep an eye on it.

Good job and good luck!

Finally figured out an eating plan that will work for me. Now I just need to implement it...

Did 10 pull ups with a 20lb weighted vest today. Actually surprised considering I don't train pull ups, let alone weighted pull ups as much as I should anymore.

Up to about 145lbs at 5'8! I'm turning 31 next month and just finished up my first ever program that I've followed. I put together a simple home gym (rack - with high and low pulley, barbell, weights/bumpers, 90lb power blocks). Ran 12 weeks of GZCLP and I'm very impressed with the results.

Haven't really worked out / attempted to gain in 10 years. Fell in to a bad obsession with body dysmorphia/anorexia and got down to 125 pounds. I was previously overweight (220-230lbs) in high school and dropped to about 175-185 until I was 21. Ended up getting back to 230 4 years ago and had bad back pain. Doctor recommended I lose weight to improve my back which ended up spiraling into a bad obsession.

Ended up with a 5RM of 285 Deadlift, 185 Bench, 235 Squat and 115 OHP. Looking forward to another 12 weeks of GZCLP.

I hit 155lbs bodyweight at 5'10"! It's a good milestone for me so far. I'm on week 3 of Super Squats and I hit 195lbs x 20 reps this morning. Quite a grinder.
