Max is like a genetically engineered super soldier, but instead of being trained to kill people, he's trained to drive fast and sometimes kill people.

I bet there were times this season where Lando was regretting not to have had such a caring father with a long term vision lol

How to let your child be a world champion in F1:
Possibly lost his dad in a car on-fire accident
Drop him at the gas station if he doesn't finish P1

No, you aren't loved properly by your father and mother clearly.
"I was four years old and saw a kid younger than me already driving a mini-kart. I went to my father and told him I wanted to do it too, but he initially said no. He said I needed to grow up a bit more," he told GQ Italia.
"I kept insisting and six months later - with encouragement from my mother - I finally got my first kart,"
" With my father, I spent a lot of time because we travelled for races: he was my mechanic, he built my engines and he was also my teacher. "
Did your father drive 300-400 of miles each way every weekend so you can pursue your dream? No.
Jos Verstappen failed in F1 because he never had a proper preparement and he went against Schumacher as a rookie. He made sure Max didn't have that problem.
I'm sure and sad you never had a good dad but that doesn't excuse you for shitting on others

Mate maxs dad abused him mentally what kind of pos father abandons a kid at a petrol station cos his son lost a race
Max succeeded in spite of jos not because of him. Lewis's father and vettels father did not abuse them or abandoned them at petrol stations, and they succeeded.
This is all the while forgetting all the other shit jos has done like running over his girlfriend

Bullshit. Max would be even better than he is now without being abused. If Jos were a halfway decent human, Max would've been the undisputed goat, and not merely one of the all time greats.

What?
not merely one of the all time greats.
Oatg just doesn't sound as good as goat.

I'm saying Jos abuse wasn't the cause of Max's greatness but was far more likely to have held him back. If Max were never abused by his shitstain of a father he'd have been an even better driver than he is.

You keep saying this as fact, but no evidence to suggest otherwise.
Shitty parrent but also the creator of a racing God. Like tge old saying goes. Those who can't, abuse their kids to live vicariously through them.

Lewis or vettel both had loving parents, and they are seen as some of the best drivers ever. Micheal schumacher I don't quite know his relationship with his father but I haven't heard anything bad. Max did well in spite of Joe's abuse not because of it. Abuse is never beneficial

For a start, we were on about Max. If we're gonna play the what about ism game i could say Lance/perez/logan/mick has loving parents aren't as good as max tho.
Max did well in spite of Joe's abuse
It's as if we're defined by our surroundings growing up.

u/thenannyharvester Vettel Cult Nov 21 '24
Never should you support child abuse tho. Jos is a piece of shit and it actually makes what max has achieved even more incredible that in spite of jos max is one of the greatest drivers on the grid currently. To say that max would not have the same success if he had a parent that was less abusive is wrong.

So you need a map? Where has anyone here supported child abuse?
To say that max would not have the same success if he had a parent that was less abusive is wrong.
No, it's not. Your arguing what about ism I'm saying the facts are dad was pos son is elite athletes.
