Discussion Weekly “Why is this in the Top 10 most tracked?” Thread - November 04, 2024
Welcome to the weekly discussion thread! The goal of this post is to provide a location for questions and discussion about aircraft that don't necessitate their own individual posts, in addition to centralizing discussion about known aircraft that are frequently posted. This includes aircraft on the "Most tracked flights" list.
Please be sure to check out the FAQ to make sure your question isn't covered there. If you're looking at a military aircraft in the Ukraine region, you may find some answers in the original Ukraine megathread. For military aircraft in general, checking the callsign against this list may yield useful information. In all situations, make sure you search for the aircraft callsign and check recent posts to find any existing discussion.
Otherwise, feel free to post any questions or findings below and discuss with others!

This flight is the most tracked because it's flying Ruben Amorim, the new Manchester United Manager.

Number 1 worldwide, circling for a gear issue? Nothing online about this

I suppose it's just really loud flying over a city at 400 meters and 920 people wanted to know who is to blame.
But if there is more to the story I am interested in knowing it

GRND Vehicles
Why are Ground Vehicles so incredibly interesting? Every time I look at the most popular flights it’s now all GRND Vehicles in the same place approximately in the Netherlands and also approximately the same number of people watching for each one. Am I missing something or is it a bit strange?

Saw this was number 1 tracked, but couldn't find any information online. Does anyone know?
