We’re going to have to give this speech to liberals who are blaming future american crimes against the undocumented on the undocumented who didn’t vote Trump in. The genocide in self-defense argument is getting thin it’s going to be passed in Congress soon.

We’re going to have to give this speech to liberals

Yes

the undocumented on the undocumented who didn’t vote Trump in.

The term undocumented is bullshit because the people to whom it refers often have all sorts of documents. But my point is that regardless of what you call people who live in the US but don't hold us citizenship, they can't even vote. Pretty sure they can't even get a driver's license.

Eta could be wrong though.

u/atav1k Nov 13 '24

I dunno the term undocumented is much better than illegal. I was undocumented and it varies by state what you could get.

Pro Palestinian protesters also some speakers can be somewhat too combative in getting the message across. The frustration is understandle due to events going on in Gaza. Fancesca Albanese, bassem yossef, and now, first time listening to Miko peled. All exceptional at getting the truth out in such a way that the average individual like myself who doesn't track the events as much i should be. I see this even reaching those with hands over their ears and connecting.

International law dictates that an occupied people can do whatever they have to to free themselves from the occupation and it cannot be deemed terrorism. Also the occupier, when confronted by such actions, cannot claim to be defending themselves.

Speaking the truth

Finally someone saying that the problem isn't with netenyahu. He could go off the scene right now and the genocide will continue as it has always been since 70+ years. Netenyahu isn't the first and hopefully will be the last but there is a chance someone else will be the last

"Pro-palestine people" are not a homogenous group

I think the argument about it not being good leadership because half of Gaza has been destroyed is flawed, not because there's a debate about who is responsible for Israel perpetrating a genocide, but because it has highlighted the issue of the Palestinian people in a way I don't remember it having been in my adult lifetime.

People are talking about Palestine, people are watching Israel and seeing what they're doing. People are seeing the complicity of The West. People can see videos in real-time of what is happening and how the media are misrepresenting it or failing to report at all.

From a leadership perspective I'd say it was a massive step towards their aims.

In 1985, the village of Beit Sahour staged a peaceful tax revolt. They refused to pay Israel taxes. Perez wanted the military to crush the village so IDF laid siege for over 2 weeks. It got so bad it made international news-

Fuck israel

1

Israel described as a gangster that was humiliated - no truer words.

How ironic, a sub that calls itself "fight disinformation" sharing disinformation, this man clearly knows nothing about the history of the conflict.

Read history books don't listen to some rando shouting emotionally on a podcast.

"This [water bottle] is a luxury [in Gaza] and it has been for a very long time"

Prior to the October 7, Gaza ranked "High" (score of 0.716) on the Human Development Index, almost tied with Lebanon, and scoring higher than places like Morocco, Indonesia, Iraq, etc... Landing it fairly close to the world average.

Bottled water was certainly not a luxury in Gaza before October 7, just look at the countless videos on YouTube walking the streets of Gaza before October 7. The cars and streets often look nicer than Beirut.

More like "fight through disinformation" smh

He’s literally the son of an Israeli General haha

1

u/monaqur Nov 18 '24

Zio talking points only land on other zios

1

u/cha3bghachim Nov 27 '24

Anti-Israel propagandists be like:

One Israeli does something they don't approve of => all Israelis are horrible people.

One Jew or Israeli says something they approve of => That is the absolute truth, throw your history books in the trash, we have the truth right here!

2

u/monaqur Nov 27 '24

See that’s you projecting your own sets of beliefs on me. Look at the pinned post (made by me) explaining how exactlyNOT to do that on this subreddit. Your projection of “if one then all” is the reason you sit so comfortably while Palestinian babies children and families are being annihilated en masse

1

u/cha3bghachim Nov 27 '24

you sit so comfortably while Palestinian babies children and families are being annihilated en masse

talk about assumptions...

1

u/cha3bghachim Nov 27 '24

I brought up a false claim the guy made (really one of many he made), you appealed to his authority. Shows how much you care about the truth.

1

u/cha3bghachim Nov 27 '24

As if those can't lie or be ignorant. His ignorance is literally on display in this podcast.

1

u/monaqur Nov 27 '24

😂

1

u/cha3bghachim Nov 27 '24

Why don't you argue against my claim instead of appealing to authority?

-7

u/NoWeakassWeakness Nov 12 '24

Citation needed. Since the inception of Israel, and arguably before that point, Palestinians and their Arab allies have been attacking them. Can you point me to a specific year or event where I can read about this non-violent resistance?

7

u/magikarpower Nov 12 '24

If you have the time for it watch the documentary “Gaza Fights For Freedom” (2019). It goes into a series of protests from 2018(?) that were majorly peaceful but regardless anyone who went near the wall that keeps them in was sniped. Including occasionally children

Its free on YouTube

Milo Peled is a small-brained beta male with a Hitler complex. The Palestinians voted for Hamas. Full stop. The Lebanese voted for Hezbollah. Full stop. Both are terrorist organizations engaged in some the cruelest crimes including the suppression of their own people, drug and human trafficking. It is sickening to hear this nonsense being uttered by a supposed western thought leader. Shame.

7

u/monaqur Nov 12 '24

Israelis voted for Netanyahu and he’s got a crazy ass list of war crimes and atrocities. Should we use your logic on you?

-4

u/Gungadem-1776 Nov 12 '24

Sadly, the comparison is off. Israel is a democratic state, whereas Gaza and Lebanon harbor terrorists and are being leveled. The fact that Israel is the only democracy in the Mideast, and you don’t get that is very troubling.

Account that promotes Israeli talking points and misinformation and disinformation

6

u/monaqur Nov 12 '24

lol sure it is. That’s why the ceasefire has happened and the hostages have been returned right? Regardless of the massive daily protests. Keep up the illusion in your head hon

-4

u/Gungadem-1776 Nov 12 '24

No illusions here, buttercup.

2

u/smeeti Nov 12 '24

Thé Palestinians don’t even have a state and you hold that against them when it’s the crux of the conflict?!?

6

u/Cerati_Venegas Nov 12 '24

even Israeli media reports on how Netanyahu supported Hamas to counter the more moderate and secular PLO
