The loan is collateralized with Tesla stock. Then juuuuust when the value of the stock he owned was about to dip below the minimum collateral on the loan, the board gave him a bonus with a dollar value higher than the profit the company has made in its lifetime from selling cars.

I think he only put up like half of his own money. So like 26 billion.

However, the yearly interest payments on the debt are like 1 or 2 billion.

So after putting up all those stock and what not as the collateral, I think he will still have to sell some, or twitter will become insolvent.

Because I don't think their yearly revenue will be covering those interest payments.
