Asking your son is odd, but the concept itself isnโ€™t that peculiar.

Accountability partners are honestly nice for all kinds of good habits or avoidance of bad habits. If you struggle to not watch porn accountability is helpful.

Being accountability partners with your son though would be kinda weird though. The authority difference makes it feel less partner-y imo. Thatโ€™s something Iโ€™ve normally done and seen done amongst friends who are equals working towards the same goals.
