Yes. Playing games at 35. So weird.

44 year old me subtly pushes controller under couch

You pull that controller out now mister!
You fire up your favourite game and you play it proudly and with the beverage of your choice!

If you put it under there JD Vance might hump it.

Fuck that. I'm 39, and getting high and playing video games after work is the hobby for me and all the other IT guys I know. From interns to two dudes in their 60s.

Play on, bro. Play on...

I'm 37, just got home from a 10 hour day. Today is my Friday. I'm playing Xbox for the rest of the evening.

Farm chores are done. Partner and I are likely just gonna eat on our own when we're hungry. It's relax time baby.

Maybe Charlie can go back his hobby of.... Of.... Um.... Eating paint chips?

He doesn't seem the type to just nibble on tiny chips. He seems more like the type to order bulk, concentrated lead. As in full-on bars. That he nibbles and drools on like a baby would on a teething toy.

I picture him chugging 5 gallon buckets of vintage lead paint like Homelander guzzles breast milk.

My dad was playing Duke Nuke'em every night on Gamecube every night in his late 50's/early 60's until he passed ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Sorry for your loss.

Sounds like a great dad, I grew up with that game on PC. Now my kids watch me playing games and we all enjoy that time together. Can't wait till they show me their creativity in block games, strategic skills I Civ-likes and many more to come.

I want to watch them playing one day when I cannot anymore.

I'm in my 50's and female and VR box on the daily. I love games to relax after work.

They really are just nitpicking at any dumb thing.

Is he a serial rapist, serial criminal, daughter-humping, lying, draft-dodging, violent coup inspiring, racist, fascist dictator wanna-be?

No? Just a gamer huh?

Yea, he and Harris got my vote! These magat weirdos need to try a hell of a lot harder..

Need to spend more time golfing on your mega yacht, like the rest of us normal people.

I may or may not have had some time in between meetings today and started up Mass Effect. I am 42.

Seriously. As a 40+ all I'm saying is... is 35 old?? I wish I could be 35 again, that shit was awesome and fun. This is fun too (more work with kids) but holy fuck, it's okay to have fun. Also props to Walz for owning a Dreamcast, that's some legit clout right there

Iโ€™d venture to guess the average age of players of new single-player games is probably around 30 at least. Alan Wake 2 has references going back to the original Max Payne from 2001.

Yeah, those 35 year old kiddos who try to act older than they are are weirdย
