I'm 55 and I game with my 21 year old son and his friends all the time. It's a great way for us to stay connected, especially while he's away at college.

100% this. As a result of my son and I playing Destiny for 7 something years we are incredibly close and can talk about anything with each other even into his early adult life. 10/10 would recommend.

I see this no differently than a family going to play mini golf, fishing, ice skating etc. For one it's a great way to stay in touch and bond over something like that. I love hours away from my family, am double the age of my youngest brother and we regularly play Xbox and talk. It's good to know that we can hop on a game and chat about various things while engaging in a shared interest.
