Those weird maga folks will do anything to shift the word, but in the end, they just come off weirder.

Right? They keep using it to describe stuff that isn't really weird and it makes it even more obvious how bothered they are by it

"Isn't it weird how Democrats have normal human emotions and empathy and want to live in a world where the government's job is to make things better for everyone? So weird, amirite?"

Because they can't actually deny it. Notice how they only retaliate with "NO U!!!" attacks rather than even trying to defend themselves or Trump. They usually deny deny deny everything -- for example, if you said Trump wanted to be a dictator, most of th would deny that by playing dumb ("NO you are misinterpreting his words!!!"

The 'weird' thing though? Trump genuinely is weird af. I'm pretty sure even the hardcore Trump cultists don't think he's any kind of relatable normal person anymore (they see him as some sort of superhuman God or something). There's just absolutely nothing you can point to to Trump to make him seem normal because he is a weird person with a weird life.

They’re trying SO hard to get rid of the weird sticking to them. Sorry, guys - it’s what you ARE.

I mean, this is Charlie effing Kirk calling someone else weird. Barely even needs a response.

why is weird the thing that they suddenly get upset about?

they were called nazis, fascists, braindead, closeted homosexuals, homophobic, traitors, idiots, slimy money grabbing parasites... they ignored it all as if they didnt hear it. why did "weird" freak them out so much that they have to deflect it on someone else by calling them weirder, or trying to prove they are not weird? like seriously out of all the insults, why is weird getting under their skin?

The reasoning I've heard is that the Republicans like to think of themselves as "average" or "normal" America. Saying that they don't just really shakes them up.

Their efforts are having the opposite effect of what they want, because they keep describing basic, everyday, normal stuff as "weird", which as you said, makes them seem even more out of touch and weirder than we originally thought.

Just more proof they don’t understand how humor works.

He ends the tweet like he’s dropping a mic when we all know their so called leader struggles to not drop deuces in his pants

All they do is attack. They’re awful people who never grew out of the taunting school yard phase.

Truly pathetic.

Doesn’t anybody else find a 40-year-old man having intimate relations with couches a little sad? Or, dare I say it, weird?

It's even funnier because he acts like the word "weird" is some kind of taboo word that you only say in hushed whispers as you turn your head and make sure no one is paying attention.

It's so funny to me that of all the horrible and nasty things people have said about them and their beloved leader, that calling them weird is what made them lose it.

And so old. And no fun. And so fascist.
