It is more the product they disapprove of than the consumption. Showing off $50k watches would be more acceptable. Of course, she would still be demonized by then for it. It would just ring more hollow as they personally would be approving of the public display of wealth.

I understand & appreciate their frustrations, though. Doritos are a cornerstone in the Meal Team 6 food pyramid. Seeing a favored food item being consumed by the 'opposition' must be a traumatizing life experience.

I saw an instagram post of someone demonizing Harris for wearing an expensive necklace in an ad asking for campaign donations. If the left does it, it's automatically bad.
Yeah I saw that as a Reddit post and most of the top comments were screenshots from a variety of sites selling an indistinguishable necklace of the same style/design for like, less than $100.

Imagine thinking a college student dancing is something to be ashamed of. But she filmed another one of her dancing outside her DC office, and made them look like the Karen's that they are.
The issue for republicans: it’s a woman doing the laughing. Bonus hate points for being a woman of color.

I love it! I’m 60 and happily married but I think everything about Kamala is beautiful! She’s strong and she fights for my beliefs of honesty and integrity. I really can’t think of a better candidate for the presidency.
I love that they keep calling all the totally normal relatable things weird or creepy. Hugging your own kid? Loving your spouse? Overeating chips? Completely unforgivable offenses against everything. Lmao better not wear a tan suit, like comfortable shoes, or eat the wrong mustard on a sandwich

Reps: Jan 6, hate groups, kid diddling, corruption, misinformation, disinformation, cover-ups, human trafficking, assault charges...
Dems: tan suit, Doritos, ice cream, videogames, and a BJ from an intern.

I hate people who gate keep what it means to be an adult. If the bills get paid, your home is not an unsanitary mess, you don't stink, and your children, if any, are taken care of, you do you.

It is this. I think he is so repressed by the unrealistic expectations of conformity that he is likely a very sad individual. If he ever figures that out, he will either end it or try to be happy.
I love video games. I don't get as much time to play them, but I have done a real deep turn into quite a few in my day. It's a leisure activity that allows us to do something for ourselves. It's entertainment.
What is the difference between that and any other hobby. I also got addicted to golf. Is that acceptable because it's a rich white man sport that trump plays an exorbitant amount?

Vance went gave a speech that was basically "Children are starving in Africa and Kamala says she's having fun". It was really dumb, but also pretty in character for the guy who somehow fumbles the most softball question of "What brings you joy".
