That's a pekingese. Fluff ball, flat nose, short legs. Easy tell.

Dont list the gender, so the owner can properly identify. Facebook has a lot of local lost pet groups. You can check there to see if owner maybe already listed it. I assume you already took it to vet to be scanned for chip (they will scan for free)

Pekes are highly valued by some ppl. It is a good idea to omit a key bit of identifying info to avoid someone claiming to be the owner, but isn’t. Kind of you to help!

Also, everyone has pics of their dog on their phone. Make them prove its their dog. And an actual reunion of dog and owner can’t be faked. The dog’s excitement will be evident

Terrif idea, pix on phone. Vet records, another option — if they include identifying features beyond the basics. Most of all yep; a genuine reunion is unmistakeable!
