It’s really weird that wow does that—it does it to me too—because in the game, especially classic, I become a way more sociable person than I am irl.

Is it really that weird? In the game you're surrounded by people who you automatically have multiple things in common with (bots excluded, presumably) and you're sat behind a keyboard. I bet if you met up with a bunch of semi-hardcore WoW players at a masked party irl you'd get pretty chatty!

Huh you’re right. That makes sense. It’s also applicable to parents lol, I talk way more with my dad and am generally closer to him, and we share the common interest of wow (as well as other games too)

I've started playing classic for the first time to (hopefully) lessen my social anxiety. Doing a lot more interacting on Reddit to maybe have a similar outcome.
