Classic 20th Anniversary Realms Rogues can solo Cobrahn

Been seeing rogues still running WC at lvl 25+ for the pants. He is easily soloable at 24 (when I did and first time playing a rogue, could maybe do it earlier). Helps to have your instant poison and bring health pots for good measure. If you get an ony or rend buff it will be piss easy. 1 run stealthing to him takes 5 minutes. Don’t waste your time losing rolls or being a dick and dropping group after. Just sap him, kill his snakes then pop evasion once he transforms for melee attacks. Don’t kick the lightning bolt, it barely does damage. Enjoy your pants!

Hah yep. Druid, hunter, and rogue could stealth or feign death up to him.

Sham just being overpowered and soloing everything up to him.

Hunter could not feign death at 25, but they could solo all the trash up to the boss with a stupidly overpowered Scorpid pet.

No the scaling was just crazy in sod with the beast master rune. They fixed it a long time ago

I have currently solo’d all the trash up to Cobrahn and killed him twice on hardcore anniversary realms as a 24 hunter with a boar pet. Scare beast and traps are handy for pulls with two mobs if one of the druids will heal himself making it slightly longer to kill him

I did it at lvl 25 in sod. That was with runes and good gear. Probably possible in fresh but probably not worth the time and effort.

You can do it as early as 20, maybe even earlier. Waiting until 22 for vanish isn’t a bad idea either.

This also isn’t the only boss that’s solo able by rogues for loot. You can actually farm your own gear as a rogue all the way up to 60.

Horde can solo outlaw Sabre.

Can solo toxic revenger and the rare in gnomer too.

Multiple BrD bosses soloable, HoJ, mixologist tunic and Barman shanker, could probly solo blackbreath in the bar too.

You can solo first boss in SM GY for the dagger, solo farm rares in SF GY too.

Solo baron silverlaine in SFK

Solo some RFD bosses (glutton and coldbringer) coldbringer is tough tho and you don’t always or even most the time get the kill.

Solo the rare in RFK (really tricky and time consuming with pats on the bridges)

Solo the rare in ZF (antu’sul maybe a bit much but probably doable)

Solo rare in Mara for the sweet chestpiece.

Any serpent lord in WC is doable just take more work than cobrahn.

Solo the rare in Stockades.

Pretty sure there is a boss or two more but that’s all I can recall off the top of my head. Most of these I’ve done myself w/o engineering. Timing, and prep work is the most important thing with solo’ing stuff.

A lot of the times you need to time your vanish and opener just right so the mob doesn’t quite reset (which actually may make it not doable on classic era due to batching differences, not too sure haven’t fiddled with it as much).

Edit: some but not all of the ST mini bosses (trolls on the ledges) are soloable.

No problem man.

Just bring the consumables needed (shadow prot pots for plugger, and such) and your full kit and you’re good to go.

If you aren’t sure I know there are videos for some of these most are pretty straightforward just gotta kill a few mobs and/or stealth deep into the instance.

I farmed him at 22, but wouldn’t have been able to do it reliably without health pots and wool bandaids. Even then I had to vanish and reset a few times. Made the run and killed him no less than 13 times before pants finally dropped. Only got the belt once as well.

Only thing to watch out for is the patrol that walks all the way up next to him. Other than that, he is pretty easy. Regular Rogue tricks, gouge+bandage if necessary.

Yeah, when you zone in immediately start running to the boss. By the time you get there the pat should be just a few steps from turning around. It actually lines up perfectly

Should also be noted all the fang bosses can be soloed with good gear/consumes by level 22. This gives really good xp and you can gain a level + from the first 6 bosses. Dont try to solo Verdan lol.

no reason to stil farming those pants at lvl 25. You get the 18agi legs from a quest in gnome, alost better;)

True, but for horde might be a bit difficult to find a group. There’s also some good leather pants in RFK off the boar

i think you get the quest from the engineer trainer in orgrimmar then he sends you to booty bay. you need the quest item to use the teleporter iirc

Yup, and for those that like to PvP in booty bay it's the quickest guard aggro drop, just blast someone then take the porter then come back and guards are clueless lol It's legit the easiest quest, it's just a talk to and here's a magical teleport key

I just hit 50 yesterday and ran BRD. The Triprunner Dungarees are still better than green drops from BRD.

After you kill, jump on a torch behind him and you can logout skip to the front of the instance

Get to 60 and start farming rivenspike (or other rare drops) for 100-200g a pop instead. Once AV comes out the farm will be dead
