It gets me choked up to think about how when we adopted her in 2018, she wouldn’t let us pet her with both hands and would just run away. Now she climbs on to my lap to give me stares like this

if anyone’s curious about the markings on his ear, it’s a small number tattooed onto his ear which is done during the neutering procedure so he did not feel it at all. i live on an island where there are a lot of stray and outdoor cats, and these numbers serve as an identification system, making it a lot easier for 1. when cats go missing (recently there was a lot of flooding and this system helped many people find their babies) 2. rescuers identifying strays vs pets 3. can help people identify whether someone is neglecting their pet.

I’m on vacation for two weeks, so my boyfriend is cat sitting. This morning he sent me this picture of Blueberry looking at him super content and with love! So adorable
