That really isn't safe. All it takes is one other stupid driver, and your kittie could be facing the worst. Please harness and belt them if they're not going to be crated, especially with the window down 🙏
Ok thank you! I came to this thread fully expecting it's popularity to be based on the huge number of comments saying wtf?! a cat riding down a busy road with the window fully down, sticking it's head out?!!!
did we enter the twilight zone?! are these all bots?? there's no way ~18k (or whatever) humans are cool with this
I think the picture was still taken from inside the car. Someone with long blond hair is sitting in the seat and holding the cat and I'm betting they just held their phone up to the sideview mirror.
Not positive, but it looks like it was taken from inside the car in the front passenger seat. Based on the road lines, they may be at a red light, but they definitely are on a road with other vehicles (such as the blue one on their right and the ones coming up behind them).
I left a similar comment on an Instagram post and I got literal death threats from people. Thank you for commenting about this! Sincerely, a concerned person in the vet field who has seen way too many unnecessary emergencies from cats not secured in the car.
