This video made me feel like Larry Kosilla is the Mr Rogers of cars

https://youtu.be/65VmDfQPcZU?si=ONRew2-XXOt9z3mt

He goes around visiting his "friends" that own and operate different businesses and shows us how it all works, installing and testing multiple exhausts on his 992 GT3. It reminds me so much of how Mr Rogers used to take us to factories and show us how the world works.

Larry is the absolute best. Once and awhile I’ll email him a question about his products before ordering or just a general question and he always answers with a bunch of info. He just seems like such a genuine guy.

Larry Kosilla is a good and genuine dude. Left a very good job to do what he’s passionate about and he never sacrificed quality in the same of business he’s my favorite internet car guy. His products are a little pricy but i like supporting him

I agree they're a little on the pricey side, but the quality is worth it, especially considering you're supporting a small, US-based company and not some faceless corporation. I also love that the AmmoNYC lineup is nowhere near as bloated as some other detailing companies (Chemical Guys).

Yeah his products have very little if any overlap with one another and they’re all great and like you said it’s supporting a small and local (to me) business

i dont mind the price of his products so much as the shipping arrangement. let's say im running low on lather interior cleaner but have plenty of everything else. it's $20 for the bottle, $10 for shipping.

it only makes sense to buy a bunch of stuff at a time, and as a diy guy and not a pro detailer, im not gonna buy a bunch of extra stuff months before i might run out to save on shipping.

Same! I've been using AmmoNYC products since like 2016, and every time I've had a question he's always responded to me personally. I'm happy to see him doing well, he's definitely put in the time and the hours to build his business and his brand. What I love is that he uses his products on multi-million dollar hypercars, like he really believes in his work. If it's good enough for a Lamborghini Miura, it's good enough for my 30 year old BMW!

Larry is the dream. Rolling around in vintage Porsches and a R8 in winter. Legend.

Larry is absolutely nothing like his videos. If you meet him in person be prepared to spend more time than you expect.

Genuinely one of the nicest people you could meet. He's just a car guy & detailer who's very particular and holds himself to a higher standard but that in person he's knowledgeable while being humble.

Not a guy to push products either which I thought was interesting. When I asked his opinion of something he asked if I had tried a different interior cleaner for my Type R suede seats and recommended trying Sonax then his cleaner. Even mentioned lightly sanding a section too which turned out to do the trick.

He's our Keanu

This makes me happy. Have been watching for a while. Love seeing he is getting to a spot where he can comfortably afford his dream ride introduced to him 2 years prior. Great products. No sacrifice to quality. Looking forward to engineered AMMO sous vides without the pool noodles.

I love his videos, they're such a vibe. I've watched enough to know all his tricks so I don't even listen... If it's late and I need one more video to bridge the gap between my wife's night owl bedtime and my early bird bedtime I'll put on one of his and just enjoy a car come back to life.

Yeah I have binge watched his channel before. Perfect for just winding your day down, and also very informative.

I use to watch his videos waaaay back when before super cars and his own studio. Feels like he hasn’t changed a bit. His passion is so real and I can tell you first hand, while the products are expensive-they are worth every penny. Easy to use, amazing results.

Larry is a joy to work with.

His success is well earned.

He seems like a nice guy, but Ammo customer service is abysmal -- ghosted me when I got a bad Aerator from them (which was also horribly overpriced, but that one's on me for clicking "buy" even though I knew better). No response to me receiving a non-working product, never was able to return it. Kind of put me off the whole Ammo thing unfortunately.

Love his channel. Fun fact: he and Matt Farrah were friends when they were kids.

They still are. Larry has been on Matt's podcast many times.
