verified [REQ] manila philippines, about to get evicted

This is another repost. Hope someone can help.

Had a bout of unfortunate events, and the last one with my brother getting into an accident.

Helped him by taking on additional part time work, but with his medical needs, I kind of neglected my own and now I am facing eviction for non payment of my own rent

Seeking help to pay off the rent I owe (2 months) hopefully just one time, to make sure I still have a home.

Amount is 22k in philippine pesos, about 450USD. The landlord can accept cash payments and deposits but it has to be the full amount

Thank you in advance.

you said that you had to be out july 4th if not paid in full. oh well you've had another 24 days to get more work, find somewhere for you and your things to go

Nope it was july 10. I was able to pay the july rent but it was may and june that were still overdue.

Anyway. Thank you.

ok so you had three weeks. best of luck with your move, or i assume you can just ask for another extension. i don't think it is very likely reddit will give you $450

Yep that's how I was able to afford the july rent. I am not certain I will be given another extension.

Between increase in prices of everything + medical bills, it's just all enough for the month.

But yes, you're right, it's very unlikely. Had to try tho. Nothing to lose but a bit of pride and dignity. :) Thanks again.

good thing you put plans into place to store your things and stay with a friend. it does sound like your landlord doesn't want to evict you (given they gave an extension after they gave you an eviction date) maybe they just won't, or you can work for them

I do have that plan, yes. Our agreement was to pay for July and then pay the overdue loan by the end of July, but I had to ask for at one more week. I was given a stern warning already.

The agreements here are all informal and verbal so it's not clear cut but yes it can change, hopefully I can get enough to pay for just 1 month. Will try to work things out this morning

Ang mahal pala dyan sa manila. Pag naupa ako dine sa batangas 6k monthly ang laki pa ng bahay. I suggest ko lang na dito ka na tumira sa batangas if possible
