[Request] A very small, seemingly unimportant request of Netflix for my son.
So this may seem quite a bit less important than your typical request, but it would make a huge difference in my son's life.
I have been out of work for almost 7 months. Gratefully I finally landed a new job last week. The issue is I don't get my first check until this coming Friday. My Netflix account was just turned off. My son is really upset about this. Besides the loss of a job, I am also going through a divorce, and this has been very hard on my 5 year old boy. I'm struggling to maintain as much a sense of normalcy as I can, and to now suddenly have his only form of entertainment (besides playing or books of course) be taken away...well he's having a hard time. I'm trying to land a $15 gift card so that I can keep up things as normal for him until I get paid. If you're at all willing to help I would be so grateful.
The cheapest way I have found to do this is through PayPal gifts. https://www.paypal-gifts.com/us/brands/netflix.html
If you are willing, please PM me and I will give you my email.
Thanks for reading.

Hi, we're almost to Friday. How did it go without the Netflix so far? I am sure that your little guy must love the extra attention with mom this week, don't worry too much about the Netflix. If you have a computer, you can also always find full length shows for free on Youtube and other sites. There's a bunch of Sesame Street there, or even old Looney Tunes, those are always fun.
You know what also might be fun? Going a bit old fashioned. Go to the thrift store or Walmart and buy some cheap antenna for a few dollars. You'll be able to get the channels found here: http://www.tvfool.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29. Most likely the PBS channels will be available. And then you have a long term solution, in case you can't renew Netflix again.
My kids always enjoyed hunting around and discovering new things, even if they are not as modern as Netflix. They'll enjoy the old stuff just as well.
