I recall talking to a friend of mine, ex-pat from Israel whose comment was the country died the day Rabin died.

Not sure if they were right or wrong.

There are lots and lots of Israelis and Jews globally who despise smotrich

But here’s my take - to any secular or liberal Hebrews in Israel out there listening and to liberal / secular Hebrews / Jews abroad

It’s reached the point of evacuation. Get out while you can, if you can, and to those liberal / secular Hebrew Jews abroad all of your efforts involving Israel should be assisting refugees and asylum seekers from within it get out, while supporting completely and totally cutting off the rest of the state from any funding or arms transfers.

This has nothing to do with “folding to Iran” or “Islamic jihadism”

It’s an internal Jewish / Israeli issue.

For all the normal people over there, I know we all in our own way tried to help, tried to prevent this, tried to secularize, liberalize, talk sense, be reasonable.

But I strongly advise you to just get out. Israel is not a country that can be fixed in the foreseeable future and is an incredibly dangerous place for anyone who does not support mass murder by religious psychopaths. Just get out and everyone else help them get out.

I recommend the same on the Palestinian side, and everyone to work together evacuating innocents we can.

American Jew here. Never been to israel and don't feel any connection to it.

My opinion is that they need to go back to the 1967 borders, seriously punish the settlers and make an example of them, and help Palestine set up themselves as a country. Have trade etc between them.

But they have these terrorist govts the last x times and the zionist extremists are hiding behind the skirt of Judaism.
