I accidentally peel the middle of my nail

I accidentally peeled my nails and now it’s swollen. It’s been 7 days🥲 Already go to the doctor but need to wait for appointment with dermatologist which can be a month or more. It hurts that I feel numb on my thumb. any idea whether it will heal or not? Please help

First pic made me think youre fine itll heal. Second pic made me go Eesh that maybe looks infected. If you have decent insurance I would just go to urgent care

It will but it will take time cover it up with a bandage not too tight so you don’t get tempted to pick at it
