Monthly Planner with Dot Grid for Notes?

I’m looking for my 2025 planner/bujo and coming up short. I was wondering if maybe someone here has a suggestion!

The past few years, I’ve used a simple dot grid notebook for all my planning. I love the flexibility of the empty pages! My schedule changed this past year, though, and I don’t have the time I used to to set it up each month. This year, I’m looking for a simply monthly planner - has two pages of a full spread calendar each month - with maybe 8 or so dot grid pages between each month. That’s it. And I can’t find one anywhere!!

Do you all know if such a unicorn exists? If someone could point me in that direction, I’d be so grateful! Spiral bound and 120 gsm paper also important bonuses.

Thank you in advance! And if you have any other suggestions for a more streamlined monthly bujo set up, I’m open to those, too!

My suggestion would be another dot grid and either; set aside a chunk of time to preset it up at the beginning of the year, or print a monthly calendar to tip in or tape in.

I think this is gonna be the move! I kind of enjoy doing a big planner push that week between Christmas and New Year’s Day so just planning this out and doing it all at once may be kind of fun. I see there are some cool stickers for calendar spreads so I’ll look into those, too. Thank you for your help!

If you use a ring planner or discbound planner, you can print monthly calendars and buy dot grid paper to put in between them.

Thanks for the idea! I like folding a spiral open in my personal space, but I have a bigger desk at work that might support a binder. I’ll have to ponder this idea for there.

Discbound feels like spiral - you can fold it back !

It's quite a rabbit hole to fall down haha. If you need help finding anything, I can share what I've done for paper in mine (a5 size). I've never bought or made pre-made printable pages, but there are so many out there on etsy or made by the companies who sell discbound notebooks

Thank you so much!! I’ll reach back out if I have trouble finding what I’m looking for. What a sweet offer!

Scribbles that matter make bujo planners where some stuff is preprinted?

I just looked them up! I really like their setup. I’ve saved them in case my current plan to set everything up in a blank journal in advance doesn’t work out. 😅

You could make one with Agendio to meet that criteria but might be a little pricey

I haven’t heard of Agendio. I’ll look into this! Thanks. 🥰

There are stickers on Amazon and Etsy for the 2page months. You could stick those into a blank journal however you like

Hey! There are multiple planners out there that fit this criteria! I’m the exact same way and have tried many of these options 🙂

Leuchtturm monthly planner are monthly spreads + numbered dot grid pages. Comes in B6 and B5. 80gsm.

Kokuyo Sooofa soft rings is monthly + grid pages, B6 size. This is a soft ring spiral with 70gsm paper I think.

Kokuyo Campus soft rings, same as above but in A5 size.

Hobonichi day free is monthly spreads + numbered grid pages, comes in A5 and A6. 52gsm.

Kokuyo campus diary monthly planner is monthly spreads + grids or lined… I think it comes in both.

Aura Estelle “the 365” planner is monthly spreads + numbered grid pages. Comes in A5, B6, and passport. This is the only option I’ve seen that has more than 200pgs of plain notebook.

If you want 120gsm and spiral bound, your best bet might be something like the leuchtturm monthly stickers someone mentioned above (full set of A5 stickers that work in any A5 notebook) or adding a monthly booklet into the front or back cover of a plain notebook.

Thanks for this extensive list! I’ll have fun looking through all of these. ❤️

I think I’m leaning toward a discbound system atm so I can move things around until I have it set up just like I want. Since I don’t really know yet what that looks like, this will give me a bit of flexibility to play around!

https://www.hemlockandoak.com/products/2025-weekly-planner?

This just came up in my ad feed. The ad is for weekly but in a Quick Look there are monthly layouts too. They have dot pages in there too as well as preformatted layouts

I actively only go for grids and used MD paper last year (bujo style) and they do have calendar inserts you can paste in.

I got a paper republic planner that has a weekly set up one side, grid side the other. It’s not my fave tho.

If you don't mind, are you ok with binder rings?

Maybe filofax or plotter inserts?

Leuchtturm recently came out with a 2 page monthly sticker page.

I also used excel to make calendar spreads and then I printed it out and used double sided tape to put them in my journal
