That's a huge percentage of the American population who've been either directly or indirectly affected by the mass suffering, constant fear and agonizing deaths afflicted by these private healthcare insurance profiteers.

More Than 70% of Americans Feel Failed by the Health Care System

Millions Suffer 'Catastrophic' Health Care Costs

Americans put health insurers on the hate list

The investigators certainly have their work cut out for them trying to narrow down the perp.

I saw a graph yesterday that showed the percentage of claims denied by various major insurance companies. The national average was 11% & UHC had one of the highest percentages at around 30-31% iirc.

Good luck narrowing that down

It's probably around 10 to 20 million customers.

That should narrow down the list of suspects to about 50,000,000.

He might have been paid to kill the CEO by another high ranking member of UHC for being deemed too much of a liability.

Not that I particularly care WHY a vile capitalist fuck got shot since he brought it upon himself either way.

Wonderful line by a wonderful actor, and so on point with what seems to be inevitable given the current situation the vast majority of the population deals with

I enjoy how the law enforcement rep is just like "new yorkers....you're fine. Go about your evening".

Even the reporter is barely feigning concern.

Gosh i sure hope people don’t start getting held responsible for their actions on a more regular basis.

They'll need to wait until a pattern emerges before they catch on.

Now imagine when the ACA gets repealed, how many people are going to react in this manner? Millions of armed Americans with nothing to lose!

Problem is, how many will take it out on medical professionals instead of the insurance companies?

4

u/Scoopdoopdoop 23d ago

Too many. People freak out at retail employees all the time just doing their job

How much are they paying mourners at the guy’s funeral?

2

u/milky_nem 22d ago

easy, they just need to narrow it down to anyone who has been denied coverage, then take the investigation from there.

Best advice I ever got was that in NYS unpayed medical bills cannot effect your credit. Hospitals, doctors and ambulance companies are prohibited from reporting unpaid bills to credit agencies. i.e if you’re in NY you don’t have to pay shit.

Good luck trying to track down the shooter if you’re looking at that specific pile of data.
