Civil Liberties 📜 Matt Gaetz, who is President-elect Trump's pick for Attorney General, suggested during the protests in 2020 that "Antifa" in the United States should be 'hunted down' like "terrorists [...] in the Middle East"

The heat death of the universe can't come soon enough.

I like to think that an unmeasurable distance away from us there are big bangs now and then. If it happened once here, and space is as far as we know infinite, why wouldn't it happen again somewhere else?

My layman’s theory is that every black hole contains its own universe and our “big bang” was when our black hole collapsed into a singularity. The “cosmic background” is just what the event horizon “looks” like from the inside.

I’m Anti-fascist and proud of it. They can come for me. I earned it.

It's a little funny that our Fascism Incorporated News claims that the Antifascist movement (Antifa) is a terrorist organization, but Proud Boys are upholders of liberty and American values which is why they are allowed to raid the capital.

Republicans have been caught trying to forcefully link Antifa to unrelated terror incidents, let that sink in for a moment.

At least this lays the capitalist/fascist/zionist logic of the empire bare:

 1. Invent category of "terrorist"

 2. Use it to normalize hunting down brown/Muslim/ Arab people who get in your way and justify wars, land grabs, torture, surveillance etc

 3. Import it back home to go after internal elements who get in your way

 4. Profit

Let's not forget he's also a(n alleged) sex trafficker and statutory rapist.

Every new announcement from TrumpWorld is some kind of fresh hell, as we all knew it would be. I'm partial to Pete Hegseth (potential Secretary of Defense), who proudly never washes his hands and "jokingly" disputes the existence of germs.

At least The Onion bought InfoWars. At least there's that.

America is going to be a violent place. The only law will be that of the strong over the weak.

They're going to use this to go after whomever they want. Calling it now.

So, real talk, how do we get out of this? Are there other countries that have gone down similar paths like this that we could take inspiration from (and please don’t say “Nazi Germany”)?

Perhaps Chile under Pinochet or Italy under Mussolini

Cheery thought

Let’s not forget how Mussolini was removed from power.

I was one of those protesters. The police attacked us and we defended ourselves. J6 rioters attacked the police and even killed some of them.

We are not the same.

Nobody said you were

Plenty of right wingers tried to justify the violence on J6 by comparing it to the BLM protests
