Putovanje i turizam 🗺️ Moving to Sarajevo with Family
Hi all,
We are moving to Sarajevo on January. Our daughter will attend 1st grade 2nd term there. I have some questions for the fellow residents.
Backgroud: I am a remote worker. We are from Turkiye, but we were at Dubai for the first term and fed up with the environment there. We want our daughters to spend more time in nature, in green. Bosnia seemed like a good option on a short notice.
Questions:
1. What family friendly areas would you recommend us to rent a place, an airbnb probably? We will have a car.
I have the following neighborhoods recommended to avoid pollution in the winter: Sedrenik, faletici, poljine and higher parts of hotonj.
2. Any international school recommendations? We are in contact with the Bloom Montessori school.
3. Main to-do and to-avoids traveling there?
I would appreciate a trustworthy prepared travel guide too.
Thanks!

As for pollution, I would recommend the Poljine neighborhood because it is at a sufficient altitude to have clean air. Sedrenik also has clean air, but the access roads are in poor condition. Good luck.
