Since we’re sharing Woody stuff

A couple of years ago I got to join Dropkick Murphys for a couple of months on their tour for the “This Machine Still Kills Fascists” album. My first day on the tour the lead singer, Kenny, says (in a perfect Robert like Boston accent) “we gotta fix that fucking tattoo!” A couple of weeks later I asked him to write the word STILL on my arm. In Tulsa the next day I got it tattooed on.

I love Dropkick Murphys, I had “Sing loud, sing proud” on repeat as a teenager. Sadly I never got to see them live, is it true that their only concerts that didn’t smell like piss and beer are the ones that smelled like beer and piss?

I saw them live when I was a teen, they were touring with the offspring and did a double headliner. We were in an outdoor arena in Chicago and by the end of their first song it was raining beer and we all got soaked lol

The tour I was on was mostly in theaters and it was more acoustic than anything. So, very different vibes.
