Question Anybody been to liars (alley)
Just stuck in town over the holidays and feeling lonely and bored, wondering if anyone has been and what the vibe is like. Looking for something new and different queens and ranch aren’t really my scene. I’m a bit of a foodie and liars looks amazing just trying to expand my Horizons and have some fun, meet people as well as some good eats.

The dress code is basically "dress like you work in an office" and will reject anyone who doesnt fit that standard

The Bank tried this years ago, then stopped when they realized not enough people were showing up to make any money

That's hilarious!
I had a feeling they were trying to do an upscale club. Barrie is definitely not the place for it. Doesn't have the money or the people

Yeah im thinking the same thing. They’re trying to fly to the moon with sticks and stones

Same people who ran the alley. Not worth it. They’ll be shut down and rebranded shortly. We’ve already had multiple clubs try stuff like this, and fail. On the bright side atleast they’ve finally admitted what the employees and that establishment is all about! Just a bunch of fucking liars 🤷🏼♀️🖤

Real. I notice they shut and rebrand after a major lawsuit takes place as well. Just sayin’, lol

Slap some paint on a dive and overcharge for some cliché food and drinks... I guess if that's your thing it will be great. 🙄

It’s just bar food with pretentious names. If you are looking for an actual meal, Il Buco is your best bet. The Farmhouse, Michael & Marion’s and (I shit you not) the Iron Skillet are also fantastic options.

I like Bayside Variety, I went for drinks and they had some interesting cocktails. I got the fat washed bourbon and it was great. Definitely interested in trying the food next time

It used to be the foundation 20 years back when they had live music there. It was one of those legendary spots and time in Barrie.

I’m confused , was “the Alley “ where “ liars “ is now? I thought the building was vacant since it was “ the Johnson’s . Had no idea anything was there cause the , building looked so derelict . I only see downtown during the day

The apps are 👌🏻 I heard they hired the head chef from 147. Nice place to grab a few drinks and some food. Def worth checking out
