General Passed my tech in October. Passed my general in November. Thought yesterday, maybe I’ll test for extra at an event in January.

Yeah, I’ll be taking my time lol, nevermind.

Haha, well I like the way you're thinking! I "marched" through the exams one after the other. I'd pass, then buy the next ARRL study guide, take the test, wash and repeat to get through them all. When you're ready, go for it!

I may still! There’s an event January 11th. I might be able to squeak that one out.

Do it while it's all fresh in yout mind, if you wait months or years your basically starting again

You're already in the habit of studying, so stick with it. Extra is tough but you only have to pass it once!

Yeah, took my General test in November, after passing that the proctor said “give the Extra a try”I thought what the hell and looked at the first page. It was Greek to me.🤣

Too funny. Got my tech at the beginning of December and I'm taking the General in a couple of weeks (currently averaging between 33 and 35 out of 35 on practice tests). Looked at some of the stuff for Extra, and yeah that's going to easily take a couple of months at a minimum. The Extra stuff is a whole 'nother level.

It’s really heavy on the electrical theory.
