Discussion Just finished nightmare after owning this game for years and regularly playing hard mode.
Steve is definitely much more persistent. The hallway of death was actually a challenge. Due to resource scarcity I had to change up my normal strategy a few times. When you go to restart transit and have to deal with a human then android. Instead of killing the human then stunning and beating the Droid I just let him out so the human to soften up, he only took 3 bullets rather than 6+. I was expecting the mainframe and core to be the worst but the game took pity on me and bugged so there were only 2 joes in the mainframe vs the usual 4. Aside from a few parts I waa surprised how easy it was but I'll chalk that up to being very familiar with the game. I had the dialogue bug many many times and had to restart regularly.

The lack of resources made me switch up my MO too and made me see how useful the flares are

So jealous of people that can finish the game. I’m stuck on some part with AXL where you have to turn on/off the generator. When we get to the door, the group of 4 already have guns pointed at us and we just die.

No I can’t even get to the generator now. When I get to the steps to walk towards it, they already have their guns drawn and kill AXL.

That's weird. Is your flashlight off ?are you waiting until axles dialog finishes? Are you crouching? If you go out too early they see you

I’ll try again tonight. Played yesterday. I crouched, but maybe I’ll take another look.

The hallway of death? Is that the mission towards the end where you traverse through the dark shadowy hallway?
