It is on the middle of the atlantic, any word on why? i mean like a hurricane or something.

It’s complicated, so this is a quick version of why as I was told. It’s built on the top of rim of a volcanic caldera and when it was built in the 1990’s the roads to get there were rough so not enough people came to stay preferring hotels on the coast and in the geothermal hot spring area which were quicker to get too. It closed for financial reasons
