I literally ask myself this all the time. Sharing stuff like this makes it possible for each of us to see the humanity in each other and get that much more comfortable with making sacrifices for a greater cause than our own material satisfaction and psychic safety.
And when you start asking about the point of life, you're going down a spiritual road whether you like it or not, whether you conceive of it as revolving around a god or some more refined concept of what "we" are. That overarching ideal needs to be identified so that each individual can sacrifice their personal sense of security to risk achieving it.

Obviously we are to kill ourselves working in order to put someone in a super nice special position where we do what they say to make them have bigger and better shit.
And we get to feel good for working hard to make them feel super special 👍

They would argue, to make as much money as possible by clawing your way to the top of the body ladder pile so you can gloat for a few moments before someone else inevitably climbs over you to then gloat at how now they are winning instead.

Google Neoliberalism and go down the rabbit hole. This turned me from a pro-capitalist into a Marx-socialist. USA is fucked, BRIC is going to undermine the US as it should and leave the dollar behind, all while the multinational corporations who deindustrialized the US will take their money and leave this steaming pile of shit economy behind.

Yup, I live in California and it's about time American falls to the rest of the world. There is a socialist rise around the world and China is leading the way. Our crap capitalism is held up by imperialism, it's so sad. It's our time to suffer so others can be freed from IMF/world bank loans that have decimated economies for cheap imports and exploited labor.

u/ADignifiedLife Dec 13 '23
I hear that! only thing the " our time to suffer" let's be clear it shouldn't be regular working folks. They are victims of capitalism in the states ( coursed though conditioning/ propaganda )
100% fuck IMF and Black *shit* rock
Thanks all :)

China is socialist?! Are you effin kidding?
China's set a goat to be fully socialist in 2050, China is mostly running Capitalism with democratic socialism+Chinese characteristics right now.
Brics is dead.
Tell that to the 40+ countries on the waiting list and half the world's population already joined.
liberate the chinese people from Emperor Xi's tyrrany any day now.. aany day. Just a single crack in the totalitarian everyone's a cop shitshow, and there will be a revolution.
Western Propaganda is strong with this one, China is the future world power in the coming decade.

"You can stick a fork up my ass and call me a radical commie libshart"
I mean, as long as it's consensual...

I’m pretty both sides are trying to get to the same end goal but with a different viewpoint? The issue is both sides hate each other so much that they would rather America burn than watch them succeed…. Her view point is not communist or even left, but her even having to say it shows how much of a divide America is still in.

Well you may see a man close up his open hand
And see how greed might motivate a reckless fist
And you will witness pain of people's petty pursuits for gain
But you will never a hearse with a trailer hitch

I't a rhetorical question btw, most know the answer and it's help/rely on each other, to better ourselves and humanity/ planet.
When we realize its okay to ask/give help to one another, to give support/rely on each other amazing things can happen.
I am because we are
" okay so what do we repl 19 SYSTEMS TO REPLACE CAPITALISM WITH! ( trekanomics is one of my favorites ;) )
We are all literally in this ( the planet ) together. We can make big changes together then apart. We all cant do everything all the time, we need one another and to have each others backs, No one is an island.
Solidarity with all working class is key to change it all, keep fighting for a better world.
