It wasn't bro's time. He quite easily could have been speared with a branch through his spine & out chest

Nah why'd you have to introduce me to that. I cut down a few trees every year and this is the last sub I needed in the back of my mind 🤣

No, Tim, he fell

What you didn’t see is what unexpectedly landed on his neighbor

I mean....the tree top did land first and acted as a crash pad more than the ground would have. 😆

i was working with a electric chainsaw the other day and i found out if you let go of the gas (or on button i Suppose ) it just keeps going as in a combustion one stops working if you let go the gas.
And i watching this thinking ''wow its going to fucking slaughter people''

I have three electric chainsaws, a standard size, a pole saw, and a tiny brush saw. None of them run without holding the button down. If yours keeps running I would think there is a problem with the switch. Be careful out there

What brand? I have an electric that I love, and it stops when you let go.

Was about to joke that you were referring to an electric chainsaw that runs on gas, but then you clarified, "button I suppose," and then followed up with, "let go of the gas." I guess what I'm trying to say is, I have no idea what I'm trying to say.

That probably could have gone better.

That could have gone much worse.

He managed to ditch the chainsaw and it dropped away from him, he didn't hit any of the branch stumps on the way down and he landed with his feet down and on a couple of branches that at least slightly cushioned his impact.

I think the branches cushioned more than slightly the impact, he got really lucky but he probably still messed up his back, falling in a sitting position that can't be good.

Seriously- I can’t see that going any better than it did. Dude is lucky AF

Yeah, and he didn't get caught in the ladder.

At least he threw the chainsaw in the opposite direction.

"How hard can it be?"

He had a rope on it. So it had safety. Just not very good.

This plays like an episode of looney tunes. I was waiting for the falling sound and then the wah wah waaaaaaaah at the end.

Season must've been FALL. Maybe the tree felt like the dude should LEAF it alone. I know I went out on a LIMB with that one... actually, the dude did.

It's fine... the tree and his back broke his fall...

No. He fell the tree in that direction. It is not just bad luck, but a mistake that could have went worse. He softly fell on tree, but consider that he could have fallen on his chainsaw. No, his luck is good, but his thinking was bad.
