Accidentally left a light on that killed our battery. Neighbor helped us out and we made it in the end, was stressful for a bit there!

Merry Christmas to me! A meth head picked up one of our potted plants and decided to throw it at the window of our businesses door in Portland or. We had a film on the window that kept the glass mostly in place, but man, not how I planned to spend Christmas! We there some plexi glass over it on both sides to keep it from getting worse, but we've only been open about 4 months, and don't have the money to replace it yet.

Who would have thought vacationing in Italy would be totally different than what I thought. Been stuck in an elevator since the past 30 mins and all I can think about is sleep.

I hadn’t even cooked on it yet, the fabric is fused to the pan and won’t come off.

When you redeem a gift card from masterclass they require you to put down a credit card. They claim they will never charge it and it’s for ID verification and to have on file if you with to have private lessons. All year they never charged it. All video programs are accessible and free. Without any prior email warnings they just helped themselves into my bank account after the year was over. I am in the process of disputing the transaction, but I have a feeling they’re going to drag their feet.

using the lamp switch flipped the breaker in both rooms i tried it in, took a look inside and saw a broken piece identical to the one that is still intact. then noticed the bottom of the lightbulb is super busted. no clue which came first - the busted lamp shelf or the busted bulb. super unfortunate though it was like $120 all together

Homemade, probably a good 20 servings in there. We ended up tossing all of it since, you know, it would kinda suck to get rabies or smth from Mystery Creature Saliva Trifle (my dad still wanted to pick at the closed side but we talked him out of it)

22m no idea what to do. He had a heartattack and died on the toilet.

We decided on a “destination Hanukkah” this year (it will be “a thing” one day). Picked up a travel menorah and a box of candles. On day two we noticed that there were only enough candles on the box for five days (and a couple of leftover candles).

Who would think that selling a full sized box of candles with only 1/2 of the candles is a good idea (and foam/cardboard stuffing so from the outside it looks “normal”)? Even the company who sold these realized it was a stupid thing to do as they’ve since updated their packaging to clearly state “HALF BOX.”

Grrr.

I bought this for my 6 year old at a local Toys R Us that is going out of business. It wasn't making noise when I pressed the button, but I just assumed the batteries were dead.

I just opened Mario's head to replace the batteries, only to discover the spring the battery touches is entirely corroded. There is nothing salvageable here, especially not tonight.

My daughter will be fine because she doesn't know, but I'm pretty chapped. This was a gift I picked out because we've really bonded over Mario games. This meant a lot to me. Damn it.
