Stunning, to think Ukraine's military can strike that deep into Russian territories, is an amazing accomplishment...

Does this mean that we are going to see some nice fireworks 💥🎆 on New years Eve? 😀

They're obviously pretty about-face on the matter, but this seems to generally confirm the report a few months ago of Orcistani AD downing drones near Olenya. In a separate incident, the Ukrainians reportedly destroyed a TU22 supersonic bomber this past summer, but no hard confirmations came of it.

The fact Ukrainian drones were engaged anywhere close to Olenya is a promising indication of what targets could be in play. It could be a matter of just being able to hit targets at the right time and having enough drones to do it reliably.

Olenya is one of the enemy's biggest strategic bomber bases in the entire country and is used for attacking Ukranian energy grids. The base is ~110 km south of Murmansk.

I really hope Ukraine can start getting some real traction on the planes. If they can, it really nullifies one of Russias major advantages and will make it easier for Ukraine to use their trenches with more men.

it would be nice if ukraine used them to harass airfields. hit fuel tanks and then keep making them scramble until they don't.
