Folks, remember Garland is a Republican. They obey their masters.

62

u/Shankurmom 4d ago

Not just a republican. A member of the Federalist Society.

Biden is a fool for the appointment, and Obama was a fool to try to put him on the SCOTUS.

I’m so tired of democrats trying to compromise while the other side is lighting everything on fire, and refusing the compromise whatsoever.

Merrick Garland is an abomination

It seems some men, you can judge by their chin.

u/Poohgli16 3d ago

Or by their botoxed forehead!

The Florida AG also did an investigation a couple years back. Apparently, they didn't find anything he did as worth prosecuting.

Yes they did, they just let his partner in crime Joel Greenberg take the fall for Gaetz. Gaetz is extremely well connected, his dad was a state Congressman for over 20 years. They charged Greenberg with the crimes both of them committed and sentenced Greenberg to 11 years and let Gaetz walk.

They have testimony from the girl he paid for sex. They have testimony from the witnesses who saw them having sex. They have public Venmo payments made to the victim. They have text messages from Gaetz to the victim, and among the victims themselves. Literally couldn't have more evidence unless it was filmed.

They wouldn't bring state charges, because they knew Desantis would just pardon him, they didn't bring federal charges because the head of the FBI is a Republican, and Trump would obviously pardon him.

This is a case of a two tiered justice system.

Meerick Garland is a Republican. Why do we think that just because he was appointed by a Democrat that he would act in any other way than as a Republican would?

Meerick Garland is a Republican.

Do you have a source for this?

People keep saying this.

EDIT: According to the internet Merrick Garland is a Democrat. I think he just really sucks at his job.

u/Corporation_tshirt 3d ago

He won’t come out and admit it, but he’s a member of the Federalist society and has a record of Republican support. He’s a Republican in all but name

1

u/Kyonikos 3d ago

But where's the proof?

1

u/madhaus 3d ago

Can you prove any of that? He gave a speech at a FedSoc conference once. That’s the only evidence. It doesn’t show he’s a member or even a Republican.

4

u/KyloRenCadetStimpy 3d ago

Garland's helped more people walk than crutches

6

u/Fat_Krogan 4d ago

Garland needs to be in prison.

-8

u/Present-Industry4012 3d ago

It's divisive rhetoric like this that got Trump elected.

5

u/Fat_Krogan 3d ago

I thought it was morons who voted for him.

Wait... Wasn't this an ethics committee report? If they didn't refer anything, sounds like it's their fault for not pushing it forward.

1

u/drivinandpoopin 2d ago

The evidence didn’t emerge from efforts by the ethics committee. They pooled the evidence from Law enforcement investigations previously done on the matter. So it’s back to the issue of law enforcement not enforcing.

1

u/Sketchy_Uncle 2d ago

Why didn't those law enforcement agencies elevate their concerns? Again, little devils advocate there...sounds like a lot of people just didn't push it forward like they should have let alone the ethics committee. No conspiracy theories - just frustrated the people in the highest places are getting away with crap all the time now and being let go on the most minor technicalities.

Dems always reach across the aisle to appoint Republicans in their administration. It never gets them any points and always bites them in the ass.To be a Democrat is to never learn a lesson and repeat the same mistakes.

2

u/drivinandpoopin 2d ago

They’re not mistakes. Democrats are not an opposition party to republicans. They are an establishment party that exists to keep the country on the conservative side of policy.

1

u/brainmydamage 3d ago

Garland is a Federalist Society stooge.

-3

u/markydsade 4d ago

It’s not a Federal matter. The state of Florida already gave a pass but it could be reopened with new evidence.

24

u/the_simurgh 4d ago

Florida passed because it's a corrupt ahit hole who won't prosecute one of their own. If a Democrat had done what getz had one, he would be in prison the day of the accusation.

7

u/TriggerHippie77 4d ago

Desantis and his Republican AG passed you mean?

-14

u/saul2015 4d ago

Obama's legacy is a complete and utter disaster

6

u/wooops 4d ago

Why is this on Obama?

-4

u/saul2015 4d ago

Garland is was his guy/pick who he elevated into power, like Biden

7

u/wooops 4d ago

He was the nominee McConnell has said he'd approve so he got the supreme court nomination

1

u/saul2015 2d ago

keep bootlicking

-2

u/Present-Industry4012 3d ago

And Obama fell for it. Hook, like, and sinker.

-2

u/the_simurgh 4d ago

A legacy of failing to defend america from enemies domestic and the foreign enemy within aka russia's and china's destabilizing america via infiltration tactics.

-4

u/saul2015 4d ago

yup, specifically, the billionaire class and corporate interests he sold us out to you

hope and change my ass

7

u/TriggerHippie77 4d ago

You think Trump is gonna be better mate? I've got news for you.

0

u/saul2015 2d ago

some day you kids will grow up and see politics beyond teams sports of (d)center right vs (r)right

1

u/TriggerHippie77 2d ago

Bro, I'm nearly 50. It doesn't matter how I see it personally as I don't create policy. The people who create policy only see things through the lense of R vs D. Hell, look at the the thirty something unhinged tweets President Trump made during one hour on Christmas yesterday.

0

u/saul2015 10h ago

lol still talking about Trump, the derangement is real

1

u/TriggerHippie77 9h ago

Still talking about Trump? Brother, he's going to be president in less than a month, WTF are you talking about?

This idiotic idea that if you complain about a current or soon to be president it's somehow derangement. Aren't you the idiots who are still talking about Hunter Biden?

Edit: looking at your post history you've made a shotload of posts about Biden. Wow, the derangement is real! 🙄

1

u/saul2015 9h ago

u r the one deflecting to Trump when this is about Garland and the previous Dem admin, get a grip bluemaga

1

u/TriggerHippie77 9h ago

Why do you spell out worda like "deflecting" and "previous" but when it comes to "you" and "are" you turned into a thirteen year old girl texting in 2005?
