HPT - Other Is this invalid or positive?? Faint line above control line but not on test line?? Equate brand

Used equate from Walmart I also tested very early, my period isn’t due till 10/18.

Take it apart to see if there is any other lines maybe they inserted it wrong?

I took it apart and there were no other lines. I’ll retest maybe with a different brand

I totally understand. I go through this every month. I got a faint line on my last test and was so excited. But I started my period a day later:(

I took two of these yesterday and today and they are both like that as well! I’m hoping it’s positive, but I had a negative FRER today so hopefully it’s positive

If the frer is negative…not looking GREAT that it’s a true positive. Frer is also more sensitive than these so if these cassettes are positive, a frer would definitely be positive

I’m sorry friend! You’re never really out until AF comes though! With my first, I didn’t test positive until 6 days late (and with my second, 5 days late)! Wishing you the best

This is odd, I almost wonder if the test strip was placed in the case backwards? I would try a First Response if possible.

I just took 2 and they are both like this! Maybe we need to report it to the manufacturer??

I will, please update me too! I googled it and it looks like this has happened to lots of ladies but not ONE ever updated! So frustrating, but I'm assuming no update means they were negative

I'm already late so I'm 99% sure mine are just faulty, because I took a FRER 2 days ago that was negative. Do you know the batch number on yours?

Figured I would update, equate brand blue dye today NEGATIVE and another of the same 97 cent one NEGATIVE. So this is just a test with a weird faulty line. Hope it's different for you OP, good luck!
