[PC] Total war WH3 or Elden Ring

Hi everyone, can you help me please. I can't decide between buying one of these two or getting some cheapest games and wait for a better discount in these titles.

I'm finishing my first PC in January and already have cyberpunk and Death stranding in my backlog to play, together with other titles like ready or not. I'm thinking if it's better to pick up one big game or more varied cheapest ones (suggestions are welcome)

This comment has been automatically added because the term Total war was in your title.

In 2018 there was a scandal known as the Red Shell scandal, wherein a number of game publishers included spyware in their games without the knowledge or consent of their users. Following this there was a consumer backlash, which then caught the attention of the media, putting pressure on these companies to act.

Now some of the publishers in question have admittedly removed the spyware from their game (though definitely not all), however the EULAs of these games still contain wording that allows them to put Red Shell or any other piece of spyware on your computer without informing you. As this information could potentially sway people's decision as to whether or not they should support companies that would do this, we feel it important to inform when one of these games is mentioned here.

Here is a link to a Steam curator who has gathered a list of Steam games that have contained, or currently do contain Red Shell (note that it's not complete, for instance it's missing the Total War series). If you're interested in the scandal you can read more about it here.

Elden ring will likely be the best option, because it is one of the best souls games and one of the best to discover this subgenre of role-playing games. If you have any of previous parts of total war warhammer series and dlc`s to them (some of them are free, but most of them quite expensive), then TW warhammer 3 has content for hundreds of hours, because it combines all of content from previous games.
Both games have great replayability, but in warhammer it is much higher and improves with how much DLC you buy or already have.
There are bunch of great games on steam with a very big discounts, give a try to Dishonored 2 it`s a nice role play game where your actions changes game world.
