[PS5] Final fantasy XVI or final fantasy rebirth?

Ok so both games are on sale right now, I can only afford one tho, I'm mainly looking for the game that has the better gameplay and I mean:

Combat system. Exploration Epic battles Mechanics of the game (puzzles, secret chests all that stuff) And the most important thing, replayability I want the game that has the potential to keep me playing multiple times.

If someone could help I would absolutely appreciate it. Also I have played remake

If you haven't played remake yet I recommend you start there. Honestly for me remake and ff16 are pretty close in quality and fun. I haven't played rebirth yet because I'm on PC. But I heard rebirth is everything good about remake turned up to 100

Personally I would recommend Rebirth. Both games are more action style focused but 16 has a big focus on combo oriented combat, much like DMC.

Rebirth is a bit more standard. It also has more side content to explore.

When I finished 16 I felt…content. When I finished Rebirth (and in the chapters leading up to the end) I couldn’t wait to start the hard mode play through
