Help Me ID This rock burnt my finger?

Post image

I genuinely don’t know what this is, i tried to reverse image search but nothing really came up that was similar? I touched it then after a few seconds it started hurting? TMI but it essentially burnt the skin off my finger and now it hurts a ton 😩 If you have any idea what this is then please let me know.

PS. it hurt my finger when i brought it back home, it was 5 degrees outside and cloudy, sooo i really don’t think it’s the heat from the sun 🧐

It’s pretty big about 4 foot long by 2 foot wide.

I’ve pulled some interesting stuff outta the cut but this was the most strange.

Found on the beaches of Lake Erie. I seem to find a lot of these circular banded turquoise and dark green rocks, I was wondering if they had a name? I also find other variations (red and black, brown and dark green)

I have a family member in Brazil who’s always been know to be a bit crazy and has lived on and off as a homeless. He recently wrote me to claim that while off exploring in rural Brazil he stumbled upon a abandoned mine and claims to have found diamonds. I know nothing about rocks and these just look like glass to me but maybe someone here can help me identify the rocks ? Is it possible he’s actually onto something here

For context, I live in mid-MI and have not seen another rock like this in the area ever before. I'm also in the city, nowhere near any factory/foundry.

It seems like pyrite, but I'm not sure. It's very cold to the touch.

Any ideas?

Me and my husband traveled out of town and took part in a rail bike tour in Maryland and while we were taking a break with our group I picked up this rock. It was shimmering in the sun so it caught my eye. Not sure what it could be 🤷🏽‍♀️

Help Me ID Dad said he found this rock in Lake Lewisville after the water receded. Anybody know what causes this sick swirl pattern?

He said he found it close to the shore, and that it was uncovered when the water had receded. I know(?) iron oxidation causes the yellowing of some rocks, but does anybody know what could’ve caused the swirling pattern? He said he didn’t find any other similar looking rocks; don’t know if he was actively looking for other similar looking rocks, though.

I’m thinking it obsidian of some kind but not sure. Using a flash light to show off how red it is.
